Ken Bacon, chief executive officer of Parker Adventist Hospital (Parker, Colorado), has been named chief executive officer of Littleton Adventist Hospital (Littleton, Colorado), effective Jan. 1, 2007.
Bacon has a long history with both Adventist Health System and Centura Health. From 1991-1996, he worked in various finance positions at Porter and Littleton hospitals and in a managed care role at the Centura Health service center. In 1997, he joined Central Texas Medical Center as chief financial officer and was promoted to president and chief executive officer that same year. In 2001, Bacon returned to Denver as president and chief executive officer of the new Parker Adventist Hospital.
While a search continues for a new leader for Parker, Bacon will continue to provide leadership support to the hospital.
“Ken is highly regarded by those who work with him for his leadership ability and commitment to mission. He continues to be a true asset to Adventist Health System and Centura Health,” said Richard K. Reiner, President/CEO, Multi-State Division of Adventist Health System.
