Adventist Health System and Centura Health have named Terry Forde as CEO of Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colo. Terry is currently the chief operating officer of Porter Adventist Hospital of Denver. Terry will assume his new duties on March 1. He moves into the position formerly held by Ken Bacon, who was appointed CEO of Littleton Adventist Hospital in December 2006.

Terry will work closely with the CEOs of our other Adventist hospitals in the south Denver metro area to develop innovative approaches to patient care and growth for our hospitals, physicians, partners and the Centura Health system."
Terry was responsible for the successful completion of several major projects at Porter, including the $100 million renovation and expansion of the hospital campus and development of the Center for Joint Replacement, the Porter Spine Institute and the Harvard Park Surgery Center joint venture. He also served as chief financial officer for Porter and Avista Adventist hospitals for three years before taking on the role of chief operating officer at Porter one year ago. Prior to his tenure at Porter, Terry served as CFO for Truman Medical Center East in Lakewood, Mo. He currently serves as a board member of Mile High Academy.
